why would you let a pedophile teach your child?
I couldn't believe it when I heard that Naseem soa is teaching kids of all ages at his residence. My first thought was "how could any parent take their child to him?". Are we so out of touch with what is right and wrong that we think everything is OK? What does it say about us as a society? My next thought was why the concerned authorities are allowing this to go forward? I hope that their response would not be that there are no laws in place to keep such offenders in check.
NOOR is organizing a rally to question why convicted child abusers are allowed to work in close contact with children and calling for the inclusion of such issues in the bill on child protection being discussed at the parliament.
Please join the rally and call a to stop to this outrage.

names of all sex offenders (convicted and those undertrial) must be entered on a national sex offenders register , and clear guidelines on how they are to be monitored in society(what they can do and cannot, who will monitor, for how long, what happens to offenders), must be clearly defined and made public.
Why Pedophiles should be allowed to teach your child?
Pedophilia is a genetic condition; a person does not choose to be born with Pedophilia.
Discrimination and unfair, unfavorable treatment especially in-line of work, based on a persons inborn sexuality is unethical and should be legally prohibited.
Even though you are a Pedophile; your actions must be restricted within the legal framework of the country. As not all heterosexual males and females do not commit rape or other sexually motivated crimes not all pedophiles commits such crimes. A good majority of people born with Pedophilia are law-abiding citizens.
@Big Al under normal circumstances a man is labeled a pedophile only once he is caught abusing a child. Before that I doubt people would be aware hence your just another face in the society.
If Pedophilia is a genetic condition than the urge to rape is probably one too? But it is only after a crime is committed a man is known to be a rapist or otherwise

A person who is sexually attracted to individuals of a younger age group compared to them is a Pedophile. It is sad to see people associating this genetic predisposition with child abuse and rape. Because rape and abuse is probable in any form of relationship, even between a married adult male and an adult female.
Within the legal context of the Maldives, its still illegal for
homosexual adults to engage in sodomy or any other form of sexual behavior with each other. Even heterosexual couples, cannot engage in any form of sexual behavior with each other before they are bound together by Holy matrimony. Likewise, its illegal for a man or woman with Pedophilia to engage in any form of sexual behavior with an individual under the age of consent.
However, take a note that the age of consent isn't universal; it ranges from 12 to 18 depending on which part of the globe you are residing.
If in Maldives, a girl of age 14 cannot give consent to engage in coitus with a man of 20, the same girl could give consent to the same man in Canada.
Like in Iowa a man can get married to man, but its illegal in Male'. Its all relative.

I do not know if you have kids of your own, but supposing you do, will you allow a pedophile to engage in sexual activity with your child?
Will you allow your child to be raped, sexually abused and assaulted to let a pedophile exercise his rights of freedom and sexual orientation?
What do u mean when a pedophiles actions should be restricted? that we provide him a child once every month to satisfy his sexual needs?
I don't know where your sympathy towards pedophiles stem from but may be you can answer the above questions.

Answer to the first question is NO. I believe parent in the right mind and condition would allow their children to involve in any sexual activities.
I fail to understand where you got the idea I was advocating a Pedophiles right to rape, sexually abuse or assault anyone.
I made it abundantly clear that the actions of a Pedophile or any other human being for that matter including you and me should be restricted with the confines of the LEGAL FRAMEWORK. And no where have suggest that a child must be offered to an adult to satisfy his sexual urges.
Sexual congress is the physical manifestation of love, and must be executed by consenting individuals.

What is this about "genetic predisposition"? Even if it were true, should we still allow paedophile teachers to be in contact with little children so that we do not discriminate his "inborn sexuality"? If it is genetic as you say, then the person should be kept away from situations that would allow him to act on his urges.
Yes, these things are relative, but to some extent! I don't know if any society in the world would see sex with toddlers or even babies as normal! And this is not about laws, it's about basic human ethics!
And please do not compare this on the same level as homosexuality or extra marital sex!

Its not a Freudian slip, there is overwhelming empirical data that shows; an individuals sexual predispositions are determined by their genome coupled with hormonal influences they are subjected during prenatal stages of his/her life.
Should a law-abiding citizen born with Pedophilia be discriminated, from acquiring employment where he/she would come in contact with children?
Should an honest obese individual, with a high affinity towards sugary food be allowed to work at an ice cream palor? Its up to the society to decide.
I'm in agreement with Big Al. If parents are ok with Naseem sir (a law abiding and hardworking citizen) teaching their children what's the big fuss?

You say hes already done it once, but not all paedophiles abuse. I myself am a paedophile, but I am a law abiding citizen and like many people I am quite capable of controlling my sexual urges. I have worked with children in the past and I have never harmed any child in my life. However if I were to admit this in public I would be burned at the stake. I first realised I was a paedophile when I was aged 11. and it hasn't changed since and I know it won't. May I also point out that it is predicted that paedophiles are beleived to make up 30% of global population, thats more tham homosexuality and must be accepted into society or at least have a means of the paedophile being treated without being sent to jail. That is the only reason why I won't get help, if I ask for help I go to jail and am planted on the sex offenders list and looked down apon in society. Tell me what am I to do to prevent myself harming your children if society will not allow me to get help?
